Internships are often overlooked as something that is a waste of time, as they usually employ students and offer little to no pay. This doesn’t mean they don’t have their merits, however. There are multiple types of internships to consider. Paid or not, with benefits or void thereof, there are still going to be benefits to look forward to regardless. Just keep in mind that holding down a paying job and keeping up to date on schoolwork may become a problem if there are too many commitments for the job.
