There is a fundamental problem with most forms of investing. The problem is that you have to rely on other people to make your money for you, and hope that they know what theyre doing. Thats the scariest thing! If the person you just gave a small fortune to doesnt even have a clue, you would have been better off using the money on lottery tickets. There really has to be a better way!
Look, Im not going to lie to you. I havent made a million dollars (yet). I recommend that you do some research in the field of information products, you may find that writing and selling these informational, downloadable PDF files is worth a lot more than the time required to do so. Depending on the subject you are writing about, you may not even be able to turn off the money stream if you wanted to.
The answer is we use affiliates. Affiliates are people who use a variety of means, such as forum marketing, pay-per-click advertising, and other techniques to drive targeted web traffic towards a product. If you honestly dont feel like creating an information product (come on, you can even outsource it if you want!) you can always get into the affiliate side of things. Some affiliate techniques, such as pay-per-click advertising, CAN become passive income after a little bit of initial effort. Like I said, the key here is to do work that will result in you doing less work. I think that when we start our careers, or whatever money-making endeavors we are involved in, we get used to this idea that we have to just keep working for everything we have, that theres no way out of the cycle. We enslave ourselves over time, through this negative reinforcement. Passive residual income can set you free.
