In order to succeed online, one must first understand basic internet marketing. This requires new skill sets that new internet business owners must acquire. There is a learning curve that each new marketer must pass through in order to create a genuine internet presence.
As more and more people attempt to succeed online, more internet failures occur due to lack of training and knowledge. I was just one of countless millions, trying all kinds of programs to learn exactly how to generate and income online. After hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars, I almost gave up and determined that internet marketing was only for the gifted with computers.
I had serious doubts about how anyone could succeed in an industry that required so much knowledge about ever changing web technology. After failing time an time again most new internet marketers find running a website, an enormous task without the right mentorship and training.
Like many working in corporate America, I needed an additional income producing business that could produce a full time income with part time effort. After spending a considerable amount of time and money I eventually settled upon starting a travel website business, with a company called Coastal Vacations.
The Coastal Opportunity offered new members websites that explained various travel discounts and sold memberships online. My job was to promote my website and speak with interested visitors to generate sales.
I remember thinking: ” If it sounds to good to be trueit probably is” Nevertheless, with no experience and no prior marketing training, I embarked on learning online marketing and promoting my new travel website.
I had hoped that perhaps they had increased their sales training and that my mentor would offer me more support. I came across a website that purported to assist internet newbies with learning the ins and outs of internet marketing. That program was EDC Diamond and at the time EDC Gold. It’s funny because it wasn’t until I did a search for my sponsor on Google that I actually discovered the EDC Diamond and EDC Gold Opportunities.
I looked endlessly online for information to help me become a better marketer and to generate free traffic to my website, so I could start making money and recoup my investment. After looking everywhere online, I ended up coming full circle to where I started. I decided to give my sponsor another opportunity to help me now that I was not so new and had learned what I thought to be “the basics.”
After a search on Google failed to locate my original coastal sponsor, I came across a website that offered training and support, from a different opportunity. This company called EDC Gold promised to provide training 7 days a week for newcomers to internet marketing, and they offered anyone the opportunity to witness their level of support free, before anyone paid anything to join.
So much for the person who assured me that making money was easy online! Luckily when I returned to my computer, the screen that was open showed a link that I had never seen before.
EDC Gold was a new company that had just launched and clearly was demonstrating value to their members. They offered anyone the opportunity to learn internet marketing free before paying anything to join.
My sponsor had actually quit the business, so I wasn’t ready to believe the right mentor could make all the difference. But after reading about the free training EDC Diamond provides on the link I found, I was impressed upon to once again get my hopes up. I decided to find out what the EDC Training Webinars were all about and if they could help me with my existing internet business.
The EDC Diamond organization was not at all concerned on selling me anything. Instead, they actually focused on showing people how the internet works thru their informative training, and let their knowledge and expertise speak for itself.
To be frank, I was surprised EDC Diamond trainers did not resort to sales tactics during the insightful webinar training, as so many companies do. They did not use any kind of persuasive sales scripts to sell me or anything. They just offered sound advice on internet marketing each week, and it was free to attend for either new or paid members. After speaking with a top EDC Diamond Leader and Trainer I decided to wait and see if the EDC training could benefit my existing business online, as I was skeptical.
Not long afterwards, I made a sale for my coastal vacations business using a simple marketing technique I learned at the EDC training webinar, and the rest is history. I was left with little choice other than joining EDC since it offered more support, more training and a better commission structure than my coastal travel business. I found the training and support I was missing in all of my former online businesses.
Then, I made a sale for my coastal business, thanks to the training I received thru the EDC opportunity. That was when I decided to join EDC Gold. I had finally received the support I had always hoped for and let me tell you, I literally discovered the missing link in all of my former home based businesses.
