Lots of other people will be linking to the same exact website, and because they arent unique, they will be stuck down by making your minimum bids well over $10.
Direct linking is an awful idea also, because he was creative control over the website you are potentially sending people to. Youre also missing a key point in the buying lifecycle, in which you were allowed to inform and pre-sell your traffic.
